MEET THE TEAM AT LEFT COAST TRUCK PARTS!
Left Coast Truck Parts specializes in 1980s and 1990s trucks and parts. We keep the old reliable trucks alive. We cover a wide range of services so don’t hesitate to ask about any truck projects you might need done.
Doug was first introduced to Semi Trucks as a child when his Uncle Jim would stop by his house when taking a break from a long haul to give him rides and let him use the handle, “Mule Skinner” on the CB. When Doug was 15 he started driving trucks for himself while working on a wheat farm in Hillsboro Oregon. From that point on Doug’s professional life would always involve working with trucks. After high school he spent a couple more years driving trucks for farms in Klamath Falls before moving to the Medford area for a short stint at Willie Boats, and then working road construction as an equipment operator. Doug’s skills with heavy equipment lead him to start his own excavation company in 2001, which also offered a lowboy heavy hauling service.Doug was the lead operator, and sole mechanic on all his equipment.
In 2009 a family business opportunity lead Doug, his wife and 3 daughters to move to Burns Oregon to manage and maintain a mobile home park. From there Left Coast Truck Parts was born from Doug selling off his business inventory and realizing his passion and vast knowledge of trucks. Left Coast is growing everyday with an emphasis on getting the customer what they need, when they need it. When asked about his job working on trucks Doug will reply with a quote from the song Semi Crazy by Junior Brown, “I got diesel in my blood, and ninety weight oil on my brain”.
